Our agency completes home studies for domestic adoptions and international adoptions as a supervised provider. Additionally, we complete post-placement reports that help finalize the adoption process.

What are the benefits of working with an agency that solely prepares home studies?

There are two unique benefits of working with a home study agency. First, if your child placing agency is out of state you will need a home study agency licensed in South Carolina to complete your home study. Second, having a home study prepared by an independent agency ensures that you have the option to work with any child placing agency you choose. In other words, you are not tied to the agency that prepared your home study.

Our Services

  • Post-Placement Assessments

    A social worker will complete a home visit once a child is placed into the adoptive family’s home. The social worker will complete a report that is given to the court.

  • Education and Guidance

    The social worker will educate the family seeking adoption on both the process and about parenting an adopted child. The social worker will assist the family in gathering needed documentation.

  • Pre-Placement Assessments

    also known as the “home study.” This is completed by a social worker who will evaluate the prospective family to ensure they meet governmental guidelines for becoming adoptive parents.
